Laser Max4Live Sync Patches
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT
I'm sorry but I won't have the time to reimburse you if you did not read the text underneath, cannot find a MOTU soundcard, can't solder or don't have an ILDA laser :)
THEN THIS IS WHAT I OFFER:
The files contained allow you to improvise with Ableton while sending signals to control a standard ILDA laser projector synchronously. Ableton can be further synchronised to a modular system to create a complex audiovisual show. I use a BeatStep Pro but any other interface can work. To control the patch parameters I suggest a midi controller such a Korg nano they are pretty cheap.
The .zip file contains 4 max4live patches,1 Ableton project to demonstrate their use, 1 pdf to construct the ILDA to jack adapter so that you can send audio signals from your soundcard to control the laser.
You need a laser with ILDA input plug. I won't suggest which one. I'm not making commercial publicity.
You might need a DC coupled soundcard such as MOTU. But it can work also in some respect with a traditional multichannel AC coupled soundcard. You need 5 channels: 3/4 for the shape, 5 red, 6 green, 7 blue.
